Knuckles returned to the throne room where he saw His parents. He knew they loved him with all their hearts, love was infinate, it could be created without taking any away. " Mother father, may I speak to you in private?" He asked as he turned to Hana and chuck, indicating he wished them to excuse themselves which they did.

Knuckles asked, he didn't want the throne for himself, he just worried it might be too much for sonic. "Sonic lacks the years of proper preperation required to successfully rule, training I have. Sonic is Impatiant and cocky, He might make rash descistions that may harm our empire." Knuckles added. " I am in no way trying to be selfish and if Sonic as not so irresponsible, I would not be questioning his ability to lead." Knuckles stated.

Levi looked at him. "I understand what you are getting at, my son. That is why I have now decided to put Sonic under training, the same preparation training that I was put through. By the time I am done with him, he will be ready to be emperor. Princess Sally's part in this is sealing the alliance with the Acorn Kingdom," he said.
