Sally smiled. "He's a fine young man so far. Is Sonic his real name?" she asked. Sonic heard her and walked over. "No. My real name is Mufasa, but they call me Sonic because of my super fast running," he said.

Mufasa means King, a prelude to Sonic's destiny. Before he was born, Mother and father were unable to conceive a child. Then they found me, someone had sent me to the floating island in a basket with a balloon attached to it, all it had was my name and a blanket to keep me war. Mother and father Thought the gods had answered their prayyers for a child. I was adopted into the royal family. For some time I was raised to believe I would be king. Then Sonic was born and I realized that if I were to become king, I would have to earn it. So unlike sonic who's had everything handed to him, I worked hard and am the dutiful son, unlike Sonic who would rather waste his time running a track than running a kingdom." Knuckles said bitterly.
