"I commisioned uncle chuck to construct special shoes that, when placed on Sonic, will remove his speed powers." Knuckles said. "It is what is best for the kingdom father, the only way to make Sonic into a king is to force upon him by taking away all distractions." Knuckles added.

"There's no need Levi, I'm here." Chuck said. "These shoes don't take away sonic's speed, but they do take away his ability to choose when he can use it." Chuck said. "Say if there was a fight, sonic would be killed without his speed, so this remote, keyed to yours, Aleena's, knuckles, nd mine's DNA will allow us to control Sonic's speed." Chuck said.
