Leeta nodded, and then looked over at Sonic. She then gave a long, loud howl, getting Sonic's attention. The blue hedgehog ran over to his wolf sisters. "Hey there. What's going on?" he asked them.

Lyco smiled at him. "Hey Leeta he finally didn't think you are me and plus Sonic dad wants to see you." She said to him with a smirk.

Sonic frowned. "Did Knuckles put you two up to this? I think so, since he's trying so hard to succeed Dad as emperor," he said.

Lyco hugged him, "No silly we just thought we would come to let you know that dad was looking for you and thanks for not mixing our names up this time." She said to him with a grin.

Sonic sighed. "You're welcome. Now, let's go find Knuckles and Shadow and see what Dad wants," he said. He then followed his sisters inside and found himself looking at Knuckles. "Does Dad really want to see me or is this you playing a joke on me?" he asked his echidna brother.

Knuckles looked at Sonic. "I never joke like this Sonic." Knuckles said. "Or have you forgotten that Princess Sally is arriving today?" Knuckles asked.

Sonic nodded. "Thanks, Lyco. Now, let's go," he said. They then headed into the palace and into the throne room of their parents, Emperor Levi and Empress Aleena. When they arrived, Levi looked at his children. "Finally, you bring Sonic to me," he said, his deep voice sounding grim.

Shadow had a feeling Their father was going to berate sonic and ask knuckles why his only biological child (Sonic) couldn't be more like his oldest adopted son (Knuckles).

The emperor looked at Sonic. "Surely, you know that Princess Sally is on her way, and that you and Knuckles are potential suitors for her. Now, stop slacking and get ready," he said. Sonic nodded. "Yes sir," he said, beginning to walk away. Aleena turned to Knuckles. "Be sure that he does everything right," she said.
