All right, in the early planning stages for Wings Of Change, it was intended for Steele to come along with the group to find Balto after he left. This is the thread to discuss what the story might have been like had Steele remained in the story.

I would have liked to see him back in it again. Wish they did put him in it, even if I don't like him.

Here's what I think might have happened:
Steele suddenly returns again, claiming that he's changed his ways and offers to help the gang find Balto. However, all he's really interested in is killing Balto. Then, there's a big rematch between the two of them once Balto is found.

^ Ohh, I like the rematch idea. If only the filmmakers had decided to use him. It would have made a much better film.

Or steele wants to find the pilot to get some of his former glory back, but along the waty becomes a better individual and he and balto part on good terms.

yeah and it ends with him and balto both getting credit and rewards for Duke's rescue.

And then Balto and Steele finally end their rivalry and go their separate ways.
