I hate him, both for his arrogance and the way he kept hitting on Jenna.

Yes. I was thinking that perhaps it was parents, or a parent, who never bothered to teach him right from wrong when he was a puppy, filling his head with delusions about how great he was because he was a purebred, and Steele knew that he could get away with it because they would never do anything to punish him whenever he teased the young Balto or something like that.

Good theory! Heres mine:

When he mabey fell in love but she loved a wolfdog and she left Steele for the wolfdog and the wolfdog mabey bullied him and filled his head with nonsense. So he took an instant dislike to wolfdogs? ^^

^ Both ideas sound reasonable to me. Like I've said previously, those would be good for an RP or fanfic.

My favorite scene involving him is now the scene where all the dogs abandon him. I like when Dixie mistakenly calls him "disposable" instead of "despicable".
