What musicals and plays have you had the joy of seeing on stage? What did you think of them? Which shows would you enjoy seeing?
I got to see Beauty and the Beast when I was in Norway. It was hilarious and musical and wonderful! I'd definitely love to see it again, but in English this time
I also got to see RENT just this year. It was amazing! I had fallen in love with the movie just months earlier, and to be able to see it come to life on the stage was just fabulous! Also, everyone's voices and acting fit their characters fabulously! Well, everyone except the girl who played Mimi. Her acting and singing was good, but not right for the character.
But other than that it was amazing, and it actually brought tears to my eyes!!
The shows I really want to see on stage now are Wicked and The Lion King. Those are the two shows I would love to see! I managed to find Wicked on youtube, but the quality was very bad. So seeing it on stage would be a real treat, especially since it is my favourite musical.
As for The Lion King... Well, it has been my favourite movie for as long as I can remember. So seeing it is a real MUST for me. Also, I love the soundtrack. I listen to the Broadway songs all the time and they're wonderful! I even got the joy of singing "Endless Night" in my vocal class. It was amazing!
In July, my music teacher is bringing "Bare" to the stage, and my father is the piano player for the show. So I will definitely be going to see that.
