Here's the SW novel thread, where we can discuss them, state which ones we own and so on. I have recently completed the Darth Bane trilogy, and am now reading "Star Wars: Darth Plagueis", which is the account of Emperor Palpatine and his Sith master.

The book is fairly disturbing in some places. For example, Palpatine becomes a Sith after murdering his entire family at age 17 and in another scene, a few aliens get beheaded in a gruesome manner.

The book was awesome though. It explained a lot and connected a lot of details, like the start of the clone army.
