Back then when I first met Balto I thought he was no good, a mut, and a half bred mongral. When Jenna's owner's daughter got sick I took my team out to get the medicane but then Balto jumped in. I hated Balto cus of my selfish and greedy needs and I didn't see that he only wanted to help. I guess back then I was a real jerk because I let all the glory go to my head.
When I was going my own way I started changing, and I also started to relieze that Balto isn't such a bad guy yea back then I thought that getting all the glory was great but then reliezed it isn't great when your pushing the ones you care for away. And I also reliezed that when I was being a jerk to balto, star and to my whole team I could tell they hated me.
So after the serum run I went my own way, I left the ones I cared for and the one I loved behind. As I started my journey towards redemption it was cold and I was alone with no one by my side. But during my time alone in the cold I reliezed that if you don't want to lose your friends and the ones you love and care for then you need to show some respect to them if your to get respect back.
So for all the ones who remebered me as who I was I'll be back home in Nome soon but not as the way I was before all careing about the fame, the prestiege, and the glory. No you'll all see me as a new and improved Malmute, you all will see me a new Steele.
