no, he was found stowwed away with our caravan while we were on a trip to india as a little cub after his mother was killed.

yes.
and because Cassim was still an outlaw, but he later Pardened him after he and the forty theives (Iago became the fortith after Saluk) saved me and aladdin from Mechanicles.
